KOOKY TEA COMPANY
Packaging tea latte
Kooky Tea Company is a packaging concept with a whimsical approach to the traditional afternoon tea. This concept was inspired by a tea set I created, mocking the code of conduct associated with the tradition back in the 1800s.
The target audience are eco-conscious millennials as most packaging is designed to disappear when dissolved in a liquid.
Packaging / Branding / Graphic Design
The color palette was inspired by the different flavors of tea latte. Avenir was used on its own as the typeface. The geometric and linear sans-serif type is dynamic as both a body copy and a heading.
The concept was to create three different flavors of tea latte. The packaging was designed to be simple and organized with a sans-serif font.
SELF DISSOLVING SACHETS
The tea latte sachets are designed to disappear when added to hot water. The box is made of recyclable cardboard and comes with an attached postcard.
The powder-based mixture is packaged in a recyclable paper bag and secured with a reusable metal clip.
The tea cubes are packaged in a glass container with a brass lid. They are made to dissolve in hot or cold water/milk.
The box comes with three flavors of vanilla rose, turmeric chia, and earl lavender. The user just has to pop the tea pod in their mouth and enjoy the burst of flavors. This product also makes a great gift!
